Amber, a member of the organic gemstone family, is one of the very few without an organized crystallized structure. Formed directly from the living essence of trees, it has historically been known for it’s medicinal healing properties. Found in the Baltic Sea or Poland, it is golden in color and warm to the touch which is why Amber has been portrayed over time as ‘drops of the sun’, ‘gold of the sea’ and even ‘tears of the Gods’.
