While Pyrites are able to freely form into various shapes, Pyrite Cubes are a bizarre natural phenomenon found to only occur in Navajun, Spain. Under the right amount of pressure, minerals and moisture, its iron and sulfur atoms bond into a lattice-like configuration, forming a perfect four-sided cuboid. Nestled in the Alcarama Mountains, it is believed that these cubes were used for magic by the local Navajun community in 300BC for its perplexing form.
